Louis Vuitton’s Men’s Spring/Summer 2023 Show was filled with fresh and captivating designs, and a special tribute to fashion designer and LV artistic director, Virgil Abloh, who passed away last November from a rare cancer called cardiac angiosarcoma. He was 41.

Sitting front row with supermodel, Naomi Campbell, UK rapper, Dave, Twitter co-founder Jack Dorsey, Russell Westbrook, and Dave Free, Kendrick Lamar performed his hit songs, Saviour, N95, and others from his 2022 album, Mr. Morale & The Big Steppers. He consistently repeated the phrase, Long Live Virgil.

The theme of the show represented themes of Abloh’s eight season arc. Lamar also donned a custom double breasted, wool suit from Virgil’s final LV Fall/Winter Collection.

The Florida A&M University Marching Band also performed before Lamar’s set.

The collection show was live streamed and can be watched here: https://youtu.be/6SX50BOmArI
